Welcome to the Wynn Vale School Website!

Principal's Message

Welcome to the Wynn Vale School Website. On behalf of our school community, I thank you for seeking information regarding Wynn Vale School. As your local community school, we take great pride in the way we work together collaboratively to provide high quality teaching learning experiences for all students.

We provide a One-Stop Shop for a quality education, which includes Pre-School, Out of School Hours Care (including Vacation Care) and of course our Reception to Year 7 Primary School.

We have beautiful grounds with a generous amount of green space. Recently we have commenced our gardening project with students growing their own produce and using it in cooking. Currently we are working on an indigenous garden which tells a story from the coast to the hills. To complement our gardens, we have beautiful shade structures which are used for our environmental education programme, mini assemblies, play and to meet and greet.

At Wynn Vale School student's lives are touched and shaped by caring and highly qualified teachers who are well trained to take up the challenges of modern day education. All of our staff play a major role in the success of our school. We are committed to providing the best education possible for all students and take a holistic approach ensuring all students develop their individual gifts and talents.

This year our staff will be involved in 'Professional Learning Communities' with a focus on assessment. This will allow us to analyse, and use data to develop collectively, the very best teaching practice for all students.

Over the next five years, The National Curriculum will be introduced. Each school will be given an extra two days each year to train teachers in the National Curriculum.

I am very passionate about leading a high performing and dynamic school. Together we can achieve 'Making a Difference' for our community of learners, 'The Wynn Vale Way'.
